A system where the government reduces telecom fees in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act to bridge the information gap for socially vulnerable groups and alleviate the burden of household telecom costs.
Benefits by Target
- Livelihood/Medical Benefit Recipients: Basic discount of 26,000 KRW and 50% discount on call charges (up to 33,500 KRW per month)
- Housing/Education Benefit Recipients & Near-poor: Basic discount of 11,000 KRW and 35% discount on call charges (up to 21,500 KRW per month)
- Basic Pension Recipients: 50% discount on basic and call charges (up to 11,000 KRW per month)
- Disabled & National Merit: 35% discount on basic and call charges
