Seoul Childcare Allowance Support Project
To resolve the actual childcare gap for dual-income, single-parent, and multi-child families, this project directly provides a childcare allowance when grandparents or relatives care for children, or provides vouchers for private childcare service agencies designated by Seoul City.
Support Types and Benefits
- Relative Type: When a relative within the 4th degree, such as a grandparent, provides care for more than 40 hours a month, 300,000 KRW per month is supported per infant (up to 13 months)
- Private Type: Provision of vouchers for private childcare service agencies designated by Seoul City
The target is infants aged 24 to 36 months. Before applying, you must receive an eligibility determination for government support (150% or less of the standard median income) through the Bokjiro website to apply normally on the Umppa site.
