Policy Overview

The National Employment Support System is a core employment policy that provides both employment support services and livelihood support to youth, long-term job seekers, women with career interruptions, and low-income brackets.

Main Benefits (by Type)

• Type 1: If job search activities are faithfully implemented, a job search promotion allowance of 500,000 KRW per month is paid for up to 6 months.
• Type 2: When participating in vocational training, you can receive support for some of the costs necessary for employment activities.

How to Apply

After applying for a job search on the online Worknet, you can apply for participation on the National Employment Support System website or visit the employment center having jurisdiction over your residence.
