2026 Gyeonggi Youth Basic Income
What is Youth Basic Income?
It is a regular income subsidy provided in cooperation with Gyeonggi-do and its cities/counties to guarantee the basic social rights of youth and help them develop themselves. It is a universal welfare that anyone can receive if they meet the age and residency requirements, regardless of property, income, or employment status.
Payment Method and Amount
- Format: Gyeonggi Local Currency of the city/county on the resident registration abstract
- Amount: 250,000 KRW per quarter (up to 4 quarters, total 1 million KRW per year)
Where to Use
The local currency can be used at local currency affiliated stores such as traditional markets and small businesses within the city/county (excluding department stores, large marts, etc.).
👤 Eligibility
24-year-old youths currently residing in Gyeonggi-do who have lived continuously for over 3 years or combined over 10 years
